Our competition rules are straightforward and designed to give maximum freedom and visibility to every charity taking part; irrelevant of size or how well-known you currently are.

The closing date is 13th January 2010. Simply tell us via a YouTube clip (max. 3 minutes long) why you should win and what difference having a Precedent website and digital strategy will make a difference to your charity.

Your video can be fun or hard-hitting, a rap or serious speech, however you want to do it, just make sure you get across why having a Precedent website will make a difference to your charity, and make it as memorable as you can. Your video can be filmed on your mobile phone camera or with a professional crew, however you want to do it, just make sure you do!

And don't forget! Every YouTube entry will be displayed on this microsite throughout the competition, so the sooner you enter, the longer you will get the opportunity to showcase your video.

Rule #1:

The entries will be judged on how well you have communicated what difference having a Precedent website will have for your charity, and on how memorable your clip is.

Rule #2:

The campaign is open to all registered charity in the UK, however big or small. To enter you MUST have a relevant registered charity status, and be based in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Rule #3:

We can only judge entries that have been submitted via this site (using this application form) with a link to your YouTube clip

Rule #4:

When adding your video to YouTube, please don't forget to tag your clip with precedentcharitygiveaway.

Rule #5:

Please only submit one video per charity. If we get more than one, we will only judge the first one you submitted.

Rule #6:

Please keep your clips short - ideally no more than 3 minutes. Remember the judges have to watch them all, so the shorter (and more memorable) the better!

Rule #7:

: There can only be one winner, along with 5 runners up as chosen by the judges. The judge's decision is final.

Rule #8:

Remember, submissions must be made by closing date of midday January 13th 2010.

Rule #9:

Please do not send us your video content directly, we will only be able to view content first uploaded to YouTube.
